Update on Reformcast and me.
hey there everyone. i just wanted to jot a quick note and let everyone know where things stand and what my plans are.
firstly, i stand behind my reasoning for pulling the plug of the reformcast. i still haven't found a church home for the family and therefore don't have any elders directly over me, giving oversight for a "teaching/instruction" type thing like the podcast. i still miss the reformcast and would love to start it up again. i'm just waiting for the Lord to lead us to a church home.
secondly, as to our plans... we have been visiting knox (opc) here in oklahoma city. great folks. and they just called a preacher who will soon be installed. we'll have to see if we will fit with them and them with us. so... as soon as we are grounded in a church and that session gives the approval of the reformcast, i plan on starting up again!
if anyone knows of a church in oklahoma city that is presbyterian, tr, post mil, theonomic, rpw etc... please let me know!
also, we are in the planning stages of opening a bookstore here in okc. we plan on it being a christian/homeschool/theology bookstore. should be interesting. we have had great feedback from potential customers and are currently scouting locations and will soon be putting together a business plan. please pray for us.

anxiously awaiting the resurrection of the reformcast
well, anonymous, thanks for hangin around. i would love to start it up again. ima wait for the right time. and the right church. stay tuned.
i had a meeting with a mobile dj today. i will prob start working with him soon. a little extra cash for now and it might develop into something bigger in the future that i could do simultaneously with other things. pretty sweet.

im working with him at being a mobile dj. not beat matching and mixing and scratching and stuff....just playing good music strung together nicely with tasteful intros and announcements occasionally. weddings, parties etc. its a great industry and i have, through my good buddy blake, hooked up with the classiest guy in it here in okc.
this could be a way out of the banking job for me!
as far as the podcast starting up anytime soon....i hope yall havent been holding your collective breath. if so....just breathe deep and lay down. slow deep breaths and everything will be fine. your normal coloring should return to your face quickly.
there have been some interesting developments that might push off the restart of the cast. while i think we have found our new church home, i don't think it's gonna be supportive of my podcast.
its complicated but suffice to say that the reformcast would probably touch on things about which the session of this particular church would not want a congregant sharing his opinion....especially if that congregant is me and his opinions on a couple of specific issues are the opinions i hold.
ive said too much. im vulnerable.
